My name is Alice Doyle, more commonly referred to as Ms. Doyle in the classroom!  As a student I attended holy trinity school for grades 2-8.  I then attended Sacred Heart Academy where I swam and was on the rowing team. After graduating from SHA in 2001, I headed up north to Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio.  At Xavier I began taking Early Childhood Education classes and rowing on their crew team.  I graduated in May of 2005 with a Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education, grades Pre-K to 5.  I completed my student teaching at a Catholic grade school in Cincinnati in a first grade classroom, then moved back to Louisville.  Lucky for me, a first grade teacher was about to have a baby at this time and I was offered the position of a maternity leave sub from February until the end of the school year. Another first grade teaching position opened up at holy trinity, which I gladly accepted.  Currently, I am finishing up my graduate degree at the University of St. Mary, and will receive my MAT this spring. This is my fifth year teaching first grade at holy trinity and I couldn't be happier doing anything else!
